Graphic design in collaboration with Mariana Veloso. For the first serie of conversas, we decided to use the font Abordage drawn by Eugenie Bidaut, eugbidaut. The idea was to play with the letters like they were speaking to each other. For each poster, we used an object that could be in the room during the conversa. 

Conversas (conversations in Portuguese) are a series of informal gatherings where projects, interests and stories are shared. In each session, three guest speakers, who we call conversadores, engage in a conversation for thirty minutes each. The dialogue flows naturally and informally, calling for spontaneous participation.

Conversas return to Lisbon for their nineteenth series, taking place monthly at Gesso Ateliers, in Penha de França. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome. Production in collaboration with Mariana Veloso and Luís Grilo. The sessions are be held in Portuguese and in English, as and when required.

Conversas were initiated by Constança Saraiva and Mafalda Fernandes in 2012, in Lisbon. It is currently a project of many people and places.
