What a challenge and an honor to work on this project. Her photos are a world full of sensibility, playfulness and joy.

Valérie Frossard's work questions self-narrative: identity, stereotypes, intimacy. Her images are constructed in collaboration with the people she photographs, taking detours into fiction and symbolism. She develops participatory processes, co-construction being a recurring motif in her creative work.

I embraced the challenge of having to highlight Valérie's work, the numerous projects and collaborations but also the writing work that accompanies them and that Valérie develops with care.
